≡ Kang, Pompeo Likely To Meet In Poland This Week: Yonhap
Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha is expected to hold talks with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on North Korea this week on the sidelines of a ministerial session in Poland.
According to sources cited by Yonhap News, Kang is preparing to visit Warsaw to join the U.S.-sponsored session to "Promote a Future of Peace and Security in the Middle East" on Wednesday and Thursday, in advance of the upcoming second summit between Pyongyang and Washington.
Seoul's presidential office earlier said Kang and Pompeo will meet each other in the near future.
The U.S. said there will be another round of working-level consultations with North Korea next week in Hanoi between its envoy for North Korea, Stephen Biegun, and his counterpart from the North, Kim Hyok-chol, in a bid to nail down agenda items and logistical details of the planned summit.■

≡ Seoul To Offer Ui LRT Real-Time Train Schedules Online
Starting from next month, passengers using the Ui-Sinseol Light Rapid Transit line, or Ui LRT, in Seoul will be able to check real-time train arrival and departure times online.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the private operator of the line agreed to share real-time train information and plan to connect their computer networks this month.
Seoul will provide the information to the public and offer the service separately through portal sites such as Naver and Daum.
The Ui line opened in September 2017, running from Ui-dong to Sinseol-dong in northern Seoul, but has received complaints over train delays and suspensions caused by frequent breakdowns.■[2019.02.12]
