The Korean Air Force says last month's F-15K fighter jet crash was caused by the pilot's oversight.
Announcing the results of its probe into the cause of the accident, an Air Force official said the pilot failed to maintain the lowest safe altitude while trying to establish a safe distance from an aircraft flying in front of the jet.
The official added that no defects were found in the fuselage.
On April 5th, the jet crashed into a mountain in Chilgok, North Gyeongsang Province, killing two pilots onboard.■
