The average retirement age of big businesses stood at 60.2 in 2017.
According to the National Assembly Research Service, the official retirement age for companies with more than 300 employees increased by 2.7 years in 2017 compared to four years ago.
The research also showed that as of last year, 99 percent of big companies had a policy of letting an employee to stay at his or her post until at least they are 60 years old, which is a sharp spike from 23 percent in 2013.■
