South Korean K-pop boy band BTS' 2017 hit song "DNA" has topped 1 billion YouTube views, becoming the group's first music video to hit the milestone.
According to BTS' management agency Big Hit Entertainment, "DNA," the lead track of the group's album "Love Yourself: Her," achieved the feat early Monday morning.
BTS is the first male K-pop group to have scored such feat, with rapper Psy's "Gangnam Style" and K-pop girl band BLACKPINK's "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" having previously racked up 1 billion views on YouTube.
The septet is currently producing a new album to be released in the coming months while also planning to hold a paid online concert, Bang Bang Con: The Live, on June 14.
