BLACKPINK has become the first South Korean all-female group to top Billboard's Artist 100 chart.
They are also the third ever Korean act to take the top spot following BTS and SuperM.
The chart measures artist activity across key metrics such as music consumption, radio airplay, track sales and social media fan interactions.
Billboard said on Tuesday that the group shot up to the No. 1 spot from 65th after the release of its first full album titled "The Album."
It was released on October 2 and includes the track "Ice Cream," which features American singer Selena Gomez.
