Royal palaces in Seoul will offer visitors colorful scenes of the fall foliage season.
The Cultural Heritage Administration has recommended all four palaces, including Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung as must-visit sites as the leaves have already begun changing and will continue through mid-November.
The agency has also recommended visiting Jongmyo Shrine, the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty and the Taereung Shrine to experience autumn in the capital.
Cultural performances and events will be held at these sites during this period.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration's fall foliage forecast, autumn colors across the country will peak around next Tuesday.
