Samsung Electronics is temporarily shutting down its TV manufacturing plant in Slovakia due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
The tech giant announced on Friday the factory will be closed for a week starting Monday.
However, its TV production facilities in Poland and Hungary will operate as normal.
According to industry tracker IHS Markit, Samsung accounted for more than 30 percent of the global TV market last year in terms of revenue.■
