A freight truck leaves the Samsung Electronics production facility in Gwangju.
Samsung Electronics reopened a refrigerator production line in South Korea on Friday after closing the facility a day earlier due to novel coronavirus concerns.
Samsung said its factory in Gwangju, some 330 kilometers southwest of Seoul, resumed operation in the morning after a worker suspected of having contact with a COVID-19 patient tested negative.
The company halted production at the refrigerator plant on Thursday to prevent the possible spread of infections.
