China has reported a decrease in the number of new deaths and confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus.
The National Health Commission said in its daily update on Saturday that 397 new cases had been confirmed, down from 889 cases a day earlier.
The central province of Hubei, the epicenter of the virus outbreak, reported 106 new deaths.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in mainland China to 76,288 with the death toll at 2,345.■
