Tourists at the Brisbane Airport wearing masks
Australia is lifting coronavirus travel ban for some Chinese students allowing them to re-enter the country.
According to the country's Education Minister Dan Tehan Saturday, about 760 Chinese high school students can now apply for an exemption.
Students from China's Hubei province are however, still not allowed entry.
The Australian minister also said the students would be required to self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
Australia has imposed travel restrictions on tourists coming from mainland China to the country earlier this month.
The ban remains in place until February 29.■
