Protestors on horses in Houston, Texas Tuesday

Protests hit cities across the U.S. once again Tuesday despite curfews.
The demonstrations, mostly peaceful, called for justice for black people after the death in police custody of an unarmed African-American, George Floyd, more than a week ago
The BBC's Peter Bowes reports.

I think there has been a tangible change in the mood, especially an improvement in relations between those demonstrators, protestors on the streets still in many cities around the country and their relations with the police, especially here in Los Angeles although right now late into the evening in L.A., many people have been arrested on the streets of L.A. and the center of Hollywood, downtown Los Angeles, because they have defied the curfew, which has been enforced here for several hours now dusk to dawn.
Again, that is the situation that is repeated around the country.
And, a lot of those people say they are refusing to go home because they believe what amounts to civil disobedience are worth it still to make their point.
