G7 leaders are expected to promise today to give 1 billion coronavirus vaccines to the world's poorest countries as part of a global push to end the pandemic.
The BBC's James Landale reports.

In Africa, only about 2 percent of people have been vaccinated compared to rates of more than 50 percent in some Western countries.
So that's why Britain is promising to donate 100 million surplus doses of vaccine over the next year distributed largely through the global COVAX mechanism.
President Biden has gone much further, promising 500 million doses to poorer countries over the next 12 months, with G7 countries expected to pledge 1 billion doses in total.
But will it be enough?
What campaigners want is not just more money to buy doses but also for richer countries to share technical know-how so they can produce the vaccines themselves.
