A U.S. congressional committee investigating the storming of the Capitol in January has issued its first round of subpoenas.
Among those summoned to appear are former President Donald Trump's Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and the political strategist Steve Bannon.
The BBC's David Willis reports.

The committee investigating the causes of the riot have subpoenaed four people.
Each has been given two weeks in which to turn over documents relating to their movements and contacts at that time and told they were required to submit sworn depositions a week later.
The committee has said it's seeking information about Donald Trump's involvement in the violence.
Mr. Trump, in his statement, said he would cite so-called executive privilege in order to avoid providing evidence to the committee.
