Rescue teams in western Ghana are looking for survivors after a huge explosion in a village razed hundreds of buildings to the ground.
Local officials said at least 17 bodies had been found after Thursday's blast in Apiate, near the town of Bogoso, some 300 kilometers west of the capital Accra, but there are fears many more are buried under the rubble.
Police say the blast happened when a truck carrying explosives to a mine collided with a motorbike.
