The Cabinet has passed over 60 bills.
They include three revision bills designed to improve private kindergartens' services to better benefit the public and enhance their accounting transparency.
The Cabinet also approved the government's plan to make a joint bid and co-host the 2032 Summer Olympics with North Korea.
Under the plan, officials will finalize basic directions and lay groundwork for cooperation as well as promptly implement related measures.
Last week, during his New Year's press conference, President Moon Jae-in expressed a desire to push for co-hosting the sporting event.■
