South Korea will send a chartered plane to the Chinese city of Wuhan this week to bring back its citizens there amid increasing anxiety and concerns about the deadly coronavirus outbreak.
The first plane is expected to leave Incheon International Airport tomorrow morning with over 20 government officials aboard led by Second vice Foreign Minister Lee Tae-ho.
A second chartered plane will continue the operation as it is set to leave at noon heading to Wuhan.
The government's team together with evacuated Korean citizens will return to Gimpo International Airport.
Two other chartered planes are also set to use Gimpo Airport on Friday to bring back the remaining citizens.■
