The number of confirmed novel coronavirus infections in South Korea has risen to 27.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said three additional cases have been confirmed today, including one involving a 73-year-old South Korean woman reported earlier in the day.
The other two are a 51-year-old son and a 37-year-old daughter-in-law of the confirmed patient, who returned to Korea after staying in China's Guangdong province from November to late January.
Meanwhile, a 55-year-old male patient was released from hospital this morning, raising the total number of fully recovered cases to three.
Health authorities said all other patients under treatment are in stable condition.■
