Myongji Hospital doctors reporting the progress of COVID-19 patient treatment
South Korea's 28th new coronavirus patient has been tested negative for the virus after a second test.
According to Myongji Hospital, the patient, a Chinese woman in her 30s, can be released from the hospital after two consecutive test results show negative for the virus.
Her first test result came out 'pending', while the second was 'negative.'
The hospital said she will be able to be discharged from the hospital depending on the third test results planned to come out later today.
The 28th novel coronavirus patient was confirmed positive on Monday after 16 days since coming into contact with South Korea's third confirmed patient.■
