South Korea confirms 29th case of the novel coronavirus Sunday.
South Korea has reported a new case of the novel coronavirus today, bringing the total number of confirmed cases so far to 29.
According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an 82-year-old Korean national who has no history of traveling abroad was tested positive with the COVID-19 virus.
The man is currently quarantined and being treated at Seoul National University Hospital.
The latest case comes after a five-day lull in new coronavirus cases in Korea since Tuesday.
Among the 29 confirmed patients, nine people have been released from isolation after a full recovery.■
