The National Assembly is set to open an extraordinary session tomorrow to handle key bills, including a proposal to revise the quarantine act to better tackle the outbreak of the new coronavirus.
During the month-long session, leaders of the negotiating blocs will deliver speeches for two days starting Tuesday, followed by a three-day interpellation session.
Lawmakers plan to hold two plenary sessions on February 27 and March 5 to handle a series of pending bills aimed at improving people's livelihoods and coping with the coronavirus.■
