South Korea reported around 50 new cases of the novel coronavirus for a third consecutive day on Wednesday.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said 53 new infections from the previous raised the total number of cases in the country to 10,384.
Among them, 24 were from overseas arrivals, putting the imported case count at 832.
The remaining were domestic infections, including 14 in the Seoul metropolitan area, nine in Daegu and three in North Gyeongsang Province.
Eight more fatalities were also confimed.
The death toll now stands at 200.
While virus cases slow, the recovery figure continued to rise to 6,776.■
