Unification Ministry spokesman Yoh Sang-key
South Korea's unification ministry has reiterated it will make efforts so the United States and North Korea return to the dialogue table.
Ministry spokesman Yoh Sang-key on Monday reiterated Seoul's stance in response to comments made over the weekend by Choe Son-hui, North Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister.
On Saturday, Choe said Pyongyang feels no need to meet with Washington for talks, accusing the U.S. of taking advantage of negotiations between the two countries only as "a tool for grappling its political crisis."
South Korean President Moon Jae-in said last week that he would push for a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un before the U.S. presidential election in November.
