The daily number of new coronavirus cases in South Korea dropped below 20 for the first time in 38 days on Thursday.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said 18 additional infections were confirmed the previous day, raising the total caseload to 14,269.
Eleven of the latest cases were imported from from the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, the U.S., Iraq and Uzbekistan.
The remaining seven infections were local transmissions, all in the capital region.
No new fatalities were reported, leaving the death toll unchanged at 300.
A total of 13,132 virus patients in the country have recovered from the virus, up 63 from Wednesday.
