South Korea has reported 91 new coronavirus cases and three more deaths.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said Wednesday that 57 domestic infections and 34 imported cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The cumulative total now stands at 25,424 with the death toll reaching 457.
Health authorities warn that although the daily increase in cases has dropped considerably since mid-August, when there was a resurgence of COVID-19, another wave may hit any time.
Meanwhile, sporadic cluster infections at nursing homes, hospitals and other vulnerable facilities linger.
Cases with unknown infection routes, along with rising imported cases, are also hindering the country's virus fight.
