President Moon Jae-in will deliver a speech at the National Assembly on Wednesday to lay out the budget plan for 2021.
Cheong Wa Dae said the president will speak on how the 555.8 trillion won plan will help South Korea overcome the coronavirus pandemic and recover its economy.
Moon is also likely to use the address to emphasize how strong the country is amid COVID-19 and thank the people for holding on to hope during this time of crisis.
It will be the president's fourth parliamentary speech and first since the 21st National Assembly opened in July.
