The Korean military has reported five additional coronavirus cases among its members.
The defense ministry said Tuesday that two Navy officers, one Air Force officer and a civilian worker, all from the same base in Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, were confirmed to have COVID-19.
They were tested following two earlier cases at their unit.
A ministry official said contract tracing is underway.
The fifth case involves a Navy officer stationed in the eastern city of Donghae who tested positive after coming into contact with an infected family member.
The total number of virus cases among the military population now stands at 539.
