President Moon Jae-in says the government will focus all of its efforts on South Korea's economy achieving at least 4 percent growth this year.
He presented the rosy outlook Monday during a wide-ranging special address that looked back on the last four years as well as laid out plans for his final 12 months in office.

Moon pledged a faster and stronger economic recovery during the televised speech this morning.
He said all government capabilities will be used to achieve 4 percent growth or more for the first time in 11 years.
The president was optimistic on the COVID-19 front as well, saying the country is nearing the end of its own fight with the coronavirus.
He stressed that vaccinations are ramping up and the country is on its way to herd immunity, saying this goal could be reached ahead of its initial plan of November.
In regards to the real estate policy, he admitted to having failed to stabilize the overheated housing market in the past four years.
Moon also touched on the peace process on the Korean Peninsula and said the issue will be discussed during his first face-to-face meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden later this month in Washington.
He said, however, he will not be "pushed for time or be impatient" in his final year in office in making efforts to restore inter-Korean dialogue.
