At least 17 coronavirus cases have been reported at Severance Hospital in western Seoul.
According to the hospital on Thursday, employees and patients have been infected.
An outside worker, associated with the nutrition team, was the first to test positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
The hospital has suspended outpatient services at its rehabilitation ward and restricted patients there from moving to other areas.
The Seoul city government is trying to determine the exact infection route.
Health authorities are also in the process of tracing potential cases through CCTV footage.
