Partial traffic restrictions will take effect during late night hours next month along major roadways in the capital city.
The Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation said cleanings and street light repairs will be carried out through November 16.
The work will affect 16 tunnels and underpasses on four highways, as well as two major thoroughfares from the hours of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
Traffic on the Olympic and North Riverside Gangbyun highways and Eonju-ro may be affected.
The corporation said only one lane will be blocked off at each site during the maintenance to minimize congestion.
