Seoul city will be tackling its annual spring cleaning of major roadways starting on Friday.
The Seoul Facilities Corporation said it will take around a month to wash down tunnels, underpasses, sound barrier walls, and streetlights on a dozen highways in the capital.
They include the North Riverside Gangbyun highway, the Olympic and Seobu highways as well as the Gyeongbu Expressway.
Cleaning work will be carried out between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. when roads are less congested.
Drivers should be aware that partial traffice restrictions will be in effect.
