A cluster of coronavirus infections has been reported at an indoor sports facility in Seoul's Yangcheon District.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Monday that 28 patients have been tied to the cluster.
According to health officials, the facility followed quarantine guidelines, including the mandatory use of face masks.
But visitors reportedly engaged in high-intensity aerobic exercises, raising the chance of the virus spreading.
City officials have warned against engaging in exercises and sports that involve a lot of bodily contact, especially in enclosed spaces.
