At least six cases of COVID-19 have been reported at Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch.
Officials from the Seoul Metropolitan Government confirmed on Friday that at least five store employees and one customer were infected with the virus.
Earlier, the store said a cashier in their grocery department had tested positive for COVID-19.
The Seocho District Office sent out a mass text message urging anyone who visited that section of the store to immediately get tested.
This latest cluster comes after over a dozen coronavirus infections were reported from the Lotte Department Store in central Seoul.
