Cars on the nation's highways heading out of the capital region are bumper to bumper as people make their way to their hometowns for the Chuseok holiday.
The Korea Expressway Corporation said delays will be the heaviest on Wednesday.
Traffic is expected to peak at this hour and ease after 7 p.m.
As for estimated drive times, as of noon, it will likely take six hours and 20 minutes from Seoul to Busan, nearly four hours to Gangneung, around five hours to Gwangju and close to five and a half hours to Daegu.
