Traffic continues to be jammed up on the nation's expressways heading out of the greater Seoul area at this hour.

Delays will likely ease before 8 p.m.

As for estimated drive times, as of 6 p.m., it’s expected to take four and a half hours from Seoul to Busan, two hours and 40 minutes to Gangneung and around three and a half hours to both Daegu and Gwangju.

Drivers are reminded that toll fees will be collected this year, until Friday, in an effort to make people stay at home amid the pandemic and to support disinfection work at roadside rest stops.

Also, rest stops have suspended dine-in services through Sunday and will only allow takeout.
