A fourth person has died after receiving a free flu vaccine.
The Jeju Provincial Government said a local resident, a 68-year-old man, died early Wednesday, just two days after he got a flu shot.
The man reportedly had underlying conditions such as high blood pressure.
Health authorities have launched an epidemiological survey to determine whether the innoculation was the cause of death.
Since last week, three other people from various cities died after receiving flu shots, raising alarm bells over the safety of seasonal influenza vaccinations.
Officials are still looking into all three cases.
