At least 18 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in connection to a cluster of infections at a textile factory in Gyeonggi Province, just outside Seoul.
Officials in the city of Yangju said seven people were diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday, followed by 11 others confirmed Thursday.
Health authorities are still looking into the route of infection and carrying out an epidemiological survey to determine who the patients came into contact with.
They are also keeping close watch over an outbreak at the SRC rehabilitation hospital in Gwangju, also in Gyeonggi Province, where six more cases have been confirmed raising the total to 109.
Anyone who visited the hospital between September 29 and October 16 should immediately get tested regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.
Meanwhile, officials in Busan said three more cases of COVID-19 were linked to the first convalescent hospital in the port city where a large outbreak was detected.
That cluster has grown to at least 84 cases.
