Chilly conditions are being felt in regions across the country Friday, due to cold air blowing in from the northwest.
Temperatures have dropped by about 10 degrees on average compared to Thursday, following heavy rain and winds, with afternoon highs hovering in the single digits.
The mercury was expected to peak at 5-6 degrees Celsius in Seoul, Suwon and Incheon, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration.
Fine dust readings have also returned to normal levels in most parts.
The forecast for Saturday shows a mix of sun and clouds with coastal areas getting strong winds.
Morning lows will range from -5 to 6 degrees Celsius with temperatures climbing to 11-17 degrees in the afternoon.
