U.S. Forces Korea has reported three more coronavirus cases linked to the Yongsan base in Seoul.

Officials on Monday confirmed two U.S. Department of Defense employees and the spouse of another American official have tested positive for COVID-19.

The civilian employees were diagnosed with infections over the weekend following their direct contact with someone who recently tested positive.

The spouse of another DoD employee who tested positive earlier was also confirmed with the virus Sunday.

All of the newly identified patients reside in Seoul and are either in isolation at a COVID-19 facility at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek or at their off-installation residences awaiting transportation to the facility.

Amid a series of coronavirus cases reported at the Yongsan base, the U.S. military has imposed a shelter-in-place order on service members at the garrison and Camp Humphreys until Tuesday.

The total number of infections reported among the USFK population stands at 604.
