Heavy snow and strong winds are expected to hit areas in the central and southeastern regions on Thursday.
The Korea Meteorological Administration has projected that parts of Gyeonggi, Gangwon, the Jeolla provinces and Jeju Island could get up to 10 centimeters of snowfall or around 5 millimeters of rain.
Seoul and elswhere could get around 5 centimeters.
Chillier conditions will set in overnight with morning high temperatures to range between minus 5 and 2 degrees Celsius.
Afternoon highs may range between 1 and 11 degrees.
Officials are recommending people to take public transportation if possible, and reminding drivers to take caution behind the wheel as roads could be slippery.
