A 12-year-old YouTuber in the United States has been identified as the alleged culprit of a terror threat against Incheon International Airport.
The boy, who was born in South Korea, is accused of uploading a a 10-second-long YouTube video that warns of an attack at the airport on March 1, Korea's Independence Movement Day.
The 10-second-long video, uploaded Sunday, had then been changed with a message that Osama Bin Laden, the late leader of Al Qaeda and the mastermind of the September 11 terrorist attacks, should not be blamed.
The airport police launched an investigation after being tipped off about the clip on Tuesday, and was able to track down the suspect with the cooperation of Google.
Investigators said they are considering charging the boy for violating the Aviation Security Act.
Police said they will beef up security at the airport for a while as a precautionary measure.
