The mercury in the capital will peak at 30 degrees Celsius.
Heat wave advisories and warnings remain in effect in most parts.
Looking ahead, Wednesday will see patchy clouds with scattered showers in the afternoon hitting Gangwon, parts of the Chungcheong provinces, southern inland regions and Jeju Island.
