The weather forecast shows more rain is on the way.
In the capital region and parts of Gangwon Province, showers are expected to start up again during the late hours of Monday, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration.
Before then, skies are expected to be clear enough to get a view of the full moon on Chuseok Day, starting from around 7 p.m.
Regions nationwide will wake up to a cloudy and wet Tuesday.
In some areas, rainfall will be accompanied by moderate winds and bouts of thunder and lightning.
Precautions should be taken when outdoors.
Morning low temperatures will range between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius with afternoon highs peaking between 23 and 30 degrees.
