Suwon World Cup Stadium where last year’s season opener was held
The start of South Korea's professional football season is being postponed amid the rapid spread of the new coronavirus.
Two matches were scheduled this Saturday followed by two more on Sunday.
But the K League said after an emergency board meeting today that all games have been suspended until further notice.
A season-opening media day initially set for Wednesday in Seoul has also been canceled as well as orientation sessions for rookies and new foreign players.■
