The English Premier League says 10 players or staff have tested positive for the coronavirus over the past week.
It marks the highest number of infections since the EPL returned from a three-month break in June.
The league said Monday that between September 21-27, there were 10 new positive results among 1,595 people tested for COVID-19, adding that those will self-isolate for 10 days.
Until now the highest number of positive cases recorded in a week by the Premier League was six, when clubs returned to training in May.
