The U.S. Women's Open, the last major LPGA tournament of the year, will not allow spectators to keep golfers safe from the coronavirus.
The event, scheduled to open from December 10-13 in Houston, Texas, was postponed from June due to the pandemic.
"We know this is the right decision for the community and players," organizers said on Wednesday, as they expressed regret that fans will not be able to join the tournament.
South Korea's Lee Jeong-eun plans to defend her title along with 32 other compatriots.
