Veteran pitcher Kwon Oh-joon is retiring after spending his entire 18-year career with the Samsung Lions and winning three titles.
The team said Kwon will pitch his last game on Friday against the NC Dinos at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu.
A retirement ceremony will be held for the 40-year-old after the game.
Kwon, a righty with a sidearm delivery, was drafted by the Lions in 1999.
But he underwent elbow surgery soon after and completed his mandatory military service before making his Korea Baseball Organization debut in 2003.
Kwon has compiled a 37-25 record with 24 saves and a 3.64 ERA in 592 appearances.
