South Korea and Japan will face off Thursday evening in their biggest football match in a decade.

The friendly will be held at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama, Japan.

Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. Seoul time.

The Taeguk Warriors will be without key players, including captain Son Heung-min, who is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during a Premier League match earlier this month.

Other national team mainstays either have been cut from the squad or never got the call-up because of their own health issues and COVID-19 quarantine rules in the home countries of their clubs.

South Korea's head coach Paulo Bento said he will utilize Lee Kang-in and Jeong Woo-yeong, play strategically, and take advantage of the opposing team's weaknesses.
