South Korean athletes at the Tokyo Olympics are gearing up for an action-packed Saturday.
At 7 p.m., the national baseball team will take on the United States in its second group match at Yokohama Stadium.
South Korea walked off on Israel in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 6-5 victory to open its gold medal defense on Thursday.
In volleyball, the women's team will face their archrival Japan at 7:40 p.m. at Ariake Arena.
They will go into the game with two wins and one loss and will advance to the quarterfinals if they come out on top.
And the men's football team will play Mexico at 8 p.m. also in Yokohama.
They advanced to the quarterfinals after clobbering Honduras in their final first round match earlier this week.
Coach Kim Hak-bum vowed to beat Mexico, which took gold at the 2012 London Summer Games.
Other highlights earlier in the day will include men's individual archery, judo and badminton.
