Woo Ha-ram finished fourth in the men's 3-meter springboard diving event Tuesday at the Tokyo Games, recording the best Olympic result by a South Korean diver.
He earned a total score of 481.85 points from his six dives.
Xie Siyi of China won the gold medal while his compatriot Wang Zongyuan grabbed silver.
Jack Laugher of Britain clinched bronze.
The 23-year-old Woo entered the final as the 12th and last qualifier from the semifinals.
At the 2016 Summer Games, he became the first South Korean diver to reach an Olympic final.
