South Korea logged its first victory in the final Asian qualifying round for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The Taeguk Warriors squeezed past Lebanon 1-0 at Suwon World Cup Stadium in Suwon, south of Seoul, on Tuesday night.
Second-half sub Kwon Chang-hoon netted the winner at the 60-minute mark and rescued the team from another disappointing draw.
The team played Iraq to a scoreless draw five days earlier.
South Korea now has four points after two matches in Group A.
The team will next face Syria at home on October 7, then will travel to Tehran to take on Iran on October 12.
South Korea have appeared in every World Cup since 1986.
